I was challenged to start a blog, but I already have one that I don’t post on very much. Instead of starting a new one I have resolved to post more frequently on this one. While this is supposed to be a development-focused blog, I don’t think that has to be the only content. I am a developer by trade, and I work at Automattic, so if I blog about my days, I expect a lot of the content will naturally be about development.
Anyway, today was my first day back at work after the Christmas break. I picked up a nasty illness during the holidays which I’m still not fully over. It was a quiet day, I worked on a meetup post (choosing dates and locations), some team feedback, a couple of PR reviews, and generally catching up on emails, Slack and P2. It was less of a mountain to climb after my AFK than I was expecting, probably because most other folks were also off for the past week or so.
I ordered some dice before the holidays and they arrived today, I spent over £100 on them, and I plan to give some of the packs to my friends who I play dungeons and dragons with.

A cool set I got are metal and made to look like bullets.

I got another set that look like blood spatter, gross.
